Leading chartered surveyor handed honorary golf club role

Written by

Mallard’s senior director Jason Williams has been named Pennard Golf club’s honorary chartered surveyor.
Jason will look after the interests of one of the UK’s most attractive golf courses, situated on the beautiful Gower peninsula.
“I am delighted to take on this role for Pennard Golf Club,” said Jason.
“The golf club own the land at Pennard and I will be able to give them advice on any property-related issues as and when required.
“It is a truly outstanding golf course set as it is looking over Three Cliffs Bay and is part of An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
“Pennard is a very popular club throughout the year and some of the holes are world-renowned.”
Jason, a life member at the club and with a handicap of 16, is one of three generations who are members at the club. His father Roy has been a member since the 1960s and his son Oliver, 14, is a junior member.
Jon Dickson, chair of the executive committee, said: “I have a high regard for Jason and his professional abilities.
“The role of honorary surveyor is a long-standing post and Jason takes over from our recent incumbent who has retired as a surveyor.
“It is an important role from the point of view, that although the club owns the land, it is common land and is crossed by public footpaths.
“And from time to time local people ask if they can purchase pieces of land to extend their access.”
