Tenants’ Administration Fee

Our tenants’ administration fee is £180 (incl. VAT) and is charged per property, i.e. if 2 people are applying for a property they will pay £180 between them, not each.

This fee covers the cost of credit history checks, gathering references and processing the application to present to the landlord.

Prospective tenants can rest assured that they will not have to pay the full fee upfront, and it is refundable, subject to certain conditions.

£50 is payable on application – when a prospective tenant makes an application for a property, we will take payment of £50. This is held until the application process is complete.

If a landlord decides not to accept the application, the £50 fee will be refunded, subject to the following conditions:

  • The applicant has declared all known credit history
  • No undeclared credit issues have been discovered by the credit check
  • No issues are reported by referees

The £50 will not be refunded if the applicant decides to discontinue their application.

If the application is successful, the additional £130 will be payable then. The first month’s rent and bond will be payable on signing the Tenancy Agreements.
